People say that the third time is a charm, and if the smiles on the faces of our finishers from last year are any indication, the 2011 Wisconsin Marathon will be another year to remember!
This year’s race will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 in Kenosha, utilizing the same marathon and half marathon course as last year. While winding through the fast, flat course, runners will catch some beautiful views of Lake Michigan, run through downtown Kenosha and residential areas of Pleasant Prairie, and enjoy a scenic finish along the lake. Of course, after the race is over, you can celebrate by partaking in our famous post-race party where you can enjoy your free beer and brat while listening to live entertainment.
Oh, and we didn’t forget the cheese! Our All Cheese Corral will be back again for anyone willing to don the dairy and all marathon and half marathon finishers will get our Big Cheese Medal when they cross the finish line.
So, get ready for the low-key race with the high-caliber feel. All you’ll need are your running shoes and a cheesy attitude!
