2015 SERIES CHALLENGE
Race series dares runners to participate in five to earn extra bling
The "Marathons of Wisconsin" Challenge is back for a second year, with a revised lineup of races that stretches from northern to southern Wisconsin. Returning races include the Wisconsin Marathon (May 2 in Kenosha) and the Community First Fox Cities Marathon (Sept. 20 in Appleton). New to the series are the Paavo Nurmi Marathon (Aug. 8 in Hurley) and the inaugural PNC Milwaukee Running Festival (Nov. 1 in Milwaukee).
Runners who complete all four events in 2015 will receive a special Marathons of Wisconsin medal. There is no fee to join.
In order to have the ability to say that they truly have run Wisconsin, runners will need to complete either a full or half marathon in all four events. Each runner must complete at least one full marathon in one of the following races:
All races must be completed in one calendar year to be eligible for the medal at the end of the challenge.
HOW TO REGISTER
